Abstract:
Autonomous vehicles are transforming transportation by aiming to reduce accidents and traffic
congestion. Despite notable advancements, challenges remain in addressing human behavior, ethical
dilemmas, traffic management, and regulatory frameworks. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is at the
forefront of these innovations, empowering vehicles to perceive their environment, make decisions,
and operate with minimal human input.
In this paper we explores AI-powered breakthroughs in object detection, route optimization, and real-
time decision-making. It delves into the application of deep learning, predictive analytics, and
reinforcement learning to improve safety and efficiency. Additionally, it discusses critical challenges,
including data handling, safety validation, and compliance, emphasizing AI's pivotal role in shaping
