dc.description.abstract Women’s empowerment is a critical component of sustainable social and economic development. Higher education plays a transformative role in enhancing women’s social status, economic independence, psychological strength, and decision-making capacity. This paper examines the contribution of higher education to women’s empowerment by analyzing its impact on economic participation, social mobility, leadership development, and psychological well-being. Drawing on existing literature and empirical findings, the study highlights how higher education strengthens women’s self-confidence, autonomy, and access to opportunities. The paper concludes that expanding women’s access to higher education is essential for promoting gender equality and long-term societal progress. en_US
